SUMMARY
Motivation for the work of a social worker may vary. The most important thing is that a social worker performs his vocation as a mission, as in this profession the main task is to help those who need it. Clients find themselves in difficult life situations when they can not help or fail to do so, and therefore the work of a social worker should be motivated by wanting to help, his personality should be characterized by prosocialism and ideally would be if the personality of the social worker did not miss the property, which we call altruism. Prosociality and pro-social behavior are based on internal motivation when a social worker feels he has helped, and that satisfies him. Motivation for his work can also stem from external motivation, such as rewards, praise, promotion, or progress at work. All of this may favorably affect his work and may have a very positive impact on his performance.
