Abstract

In article considered features and role of church in society social life; investigate financial instruments that secure social politic implementing by the church; on example of Orthodox Church in different countries and on example of other churches shown sources of financing of social expenditures.

SUMMARY

Using modern technology, competent management and knowledge of the fundamentals of the economy bring stable income that is sufficient to implement social projects. This will allow them not to be so dependent on "sponsors" whose property donations and donors are not always uninterested. The Russian Orthodox Church recommends the following activities: agricultural production of various species, including arable land, horticulture, planting, animal husbandry, cattle breeding, beekeeping and fish farming. The resulting products in a natural and processed form of a business entity can address the needs of religious organizations, charitable help and realization. The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) has nearly 20 years of experience in providing, for example, palliative and hospice care. In particular, there is a church hospice for children who provides help (social, medical, legal and spiritual) to children with cancer and their families. Social work also takes place with older people. The financing model is also seen in the official church tax that applies in most European countries.
