Abstract
Doctor's work is connected with the whole history of man. During the Old Testament we see the services of doctors in the persons of prophets who carried out the service from God's will and without the necessary training. In the New Testament image of doctor services becomes from Jesus Christ. Doctor services we find represented by some of the apostles, particularly by the Evangelist St. Luke. The doctor's work is not generally understood as the provision of on-demand services, but this service is focused on the good of man, which is healthy and life. So the doctor confirms its activity value of life not only as a biological phenomenon, but especially as a personal act of existence.
