Abstract
Cooperation of the state and the church should be based on sharing of the same values as from side of the state so from side of the church. The authentic relation becomes in this manner which has permanent nature. State as permanent community with numerous quantity of people which underlie to the certain system fulfils a tasks where the relation to the church is not at last place. Article deals with a forms of cooperation of Slovak republic and church within. It is offering an excursus to the introduction of the theme and expects possibility of the further and deeper study of the relation of the (not only) our state and the church.
