She currently serves as an associate professor in the Department of Economics and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business at the University of Prešov in Prešov. She successfully completed her engineering studies at the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava, specializing in "International Business." She completed her doctoral studies in the field of "Management" at the Faculty of Management at the University of Prešov in Prešov.
In the field of teaching, she primarily focuses on conducting seminars in subjects such as Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Entrepreneurship in Small and Medium Enterprises. Her scientific research work primarily focuses on the study of competitiveness, economic performance, and management of Slovak enterprises, mostly in the agricultural sector, analysis of international trade, and the evaluation of sectors in the Slovak Republic in the context of public administration management and European Union economic policy.
During her studies, she successfully completed a summer school program at City University of Seattle and a research internship at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. As a representative and researcher, she has worked on several successful scientific research projects and grants. She is a co-author of one foreign monograph, a domestic monograph, and six university textbooks. To date, she has published 126 research outputs, with many of them indexed in various prestigious databases. In the Web of Science and Scopus databases, she has 45 publications and 189 citations, including 10 publications in the Current Contents database. She has presented partial results of her research at numerous significant international and domestic scientific conferences.
