Presence of theological faculty at public university in a a significant way presents ungency in searching for synthesis of knowledge in quickly developing society and brings its investment into other disciplines in searching for their meaning by stressing primacy of man instead of thing and ethics instead of technics. Modern trends in gaining knowledge can markedly contribute to development of human issues because they mediate gaudium de veritate – that is joy from searching, discovering and spreading truth, but only when this enthusiasm for science is connected with conscience.

Main priorities of faculty involve:

-          to develop own identity as a scientific and educating institution on international level;

-          realize study programs in all three degrees of academic study;

-          prepare conditions for canonic acceptation of faculty at Congregation for catholic education in Rome according to CCEO and relevant church regulations;

-          create quality working conditions for employees and students;

-          to ensure sufficient financial resources for covering current as well as developing needs and goals by applicating model of multi-sources financing;

-          to create material and financial conditions that would stimulate participation in frame programs of European Union and other international programs and projects;

-          to put stress on quality of realized research during valuation process.
