She graduated from Slovak and German at the University of Pavol Jozef Safarik in Prešov. She completed a study abroad at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena and at the University of Bayreuth. She acts as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of German Studies at the Faculty of Arts in Prešov.

The focus of her research is the field of locutionary acts aimed at German subjunctive and Slovak conditional, at advertising communication and at Corpus Linguistics.
