Vo vedeckom recenzovanom časopise O dieťati, jazyku, literatúre sú príspevky recenzované jednotlivo dvoma recenzentmi. Pri recenzovaní sa vyžaduje vzájomná anonymita autora a recenzenta i oboch recenzentov navzájom. Ako recenzenti príspevkov sú oslovovaní členovia redakčnej rady i ďalší odborníci podľa tematického zamerania príspevku. Pri recenznej procedúre sa uplatňuje princíp vedeckej expertízy v danej oblasti a princíp profesionálnej etiky.

All submissions to the journal On Child, Language, and Literature are subjected to peer review by two referees. The review procedure requires mutual anonymity between the author and reviewer and between either of the reviewers. Reviewers are recruited from the journal’s international editorial board and from the network of experts as per the particular topic of a submitted work. The review procedure is consonant with both the principles of research expertise in the particular research area and the principles of professional ethics.
