Abstract

We examine the historical development of the social doctrine of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine. The periodization of the development and conceptual formation of modern social studies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church are given. Features of social views of the Orthodox Church at different stages of its development are characterized.

SUMMARY

There is considered a historical development of the social doctrine of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine in this research there. There is provided the development of the periodization and conceptual formation of modern social doctrine in Orthodox Church in Ukraine there. There are characterized features of social views of the Orthodox Church at different stages of her development there. The social doctrine appears as a formed Church’s position in relation to the socially significant problems. It is a substantial theological component of education, as well as theological preparing of students at schools, formation of moral personality and a public civic position not only as a clerk, but also as member of society.
