Abstract

Orthodox theology finds its confirmation in practice. Holy Father always expressed the revealed truth of God through the life of the Church. Every dogma adopted by the congress was confirmed by the entire ecclesial community. Therefore, asceticism for all the Holy Fathers is a way of understanding God's truth and its application in real life. In this way the man comes close to Jesus Christ, thus de facto he is closer to the personal salvation. After two thousand years even today it is the same answer for the realy Christian life.
